Unlike traditional E-Lab sheets that only cater to manual recordings, LogiLabPRO acts as a platform to integrate laboratory instruments to any LIMS/ECM/SDMS/ERP, with a secure database (MS SQL server®, Oracle®) as a back end.
LogiLabPRO is instrument-interfacing software that collects data from RS232, TCP/IP based instrument systems.
It can also extract data from instrument software-generated results or reports.
Think about it. Any software, be it instrument software or any other type, can print a report:, But only LogiLabPRO can extract data from these reports and make them available as fields for designing electronic lab sheets.
LogiLabPRO integrates LIMS, ECM, SDMS, ERP, instrument data systems, and all instrumentation systems to one, single layout. It acts as an adhesive for all your existing systems and binds your work together as a single unit, to ensure data integrity and information security.
LogiLabPRO can be deployed as a stand-alone solution or it can be used along with your existing infrastructure, like LIMS/ECM/SDMS/ERP, to perform data-collection, extraction of information from raw data from various RS232 & TCP/IP-based instruments and transfer of data as .pdf documents to content management systems and specific data to data management systems like LIM/ERP. LogiLabPRO also has its own data management capability and maintains data collected for different tests, by multiple users, within its database.
LogiLabPRO even has an inbuilt viewer for viewing chromatographs (AIA format) and spectral data (SPC format).
LogiLabPRO aids lab users’ performances by acting as an E-Lab sheet, which means that it automates manual paper-based procedures (worksheets, forms, SOPs, etc.) into electronic worksheets and enhances the overall management of your quality and report releases.
When a lab user logs in a sample for analysis, it can be logged in via LIMS or manually in LogiLabPRO . The analysis is then carried out by the analyst using the corresponding instrument, to which LogiLabPRO is connected. The analysis result or raw data output is captured by the software and presented to the user in a worksheet format, pre-designed by the lab user. This sheet can be printed or saved for future reviews and verification. The sample results can also be exported to LIMS/ECM/SDMS/ERP.

Your worksheets can have formula fields defined to perform the calculations based on the received instrument data. Manual data entry is also possible for some parameters.
LogiLabPRO collects raw data from the instrument via RS232, TCP/IP or File mode (all file types are supported) using the virtual instrument created in the software. A document monitor service is set to monitor folders for instrument raw data. The method is designed using a robust parsing tool to setup parser for extracting the required/ meaningful data from the received raw information.
When data is received from the instrument, the raw data is split into small sample data by the parser and the required data is extracted. The extracted output (like instrument data fields) is saved to a customized lab sheet designed as per client requirements to gather and present the extracted data.
Formula fields can be framed to perform calculations, along with manual fields for user-defined parameters in the lab sheet. The lab sheet templates are designed based on the instrument data fields for routine data capturing.
The LIMS/ECM/SDMS/ERP path is preset for data transfer from LogiLabPRO through secure channels.
