mark10

Mark-10 Corporation is a world-renowned manufacturer of Force and Torque measurement products. Their product profile includes Force gauges, Torque gauges, Test stands (manual), Test stands (motorised) and Force/Torque indicators.

The Force gauges are also known as push-pull gauges and there are many models to choose from with regard to range, accuracy, sampling rate etc. All the models have the capability to capture the peak force in both tension and compression and the unit of measurement can be chosen. They can be used as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with a Test stand and appropriate Grips and fixtures.

The Mark-10 Force gauges have reversible halves so that the shaft can be placed in either of the sides. Force gauges from Series 3 would also be supplied with (a) a NIST traceable certificate (b) MEASURLite software etc, all in a carrying case.

Torque gauge series TT03 has 6 models, depending on the capacity and resolution. They can operate clockwise and counter-clockwise torque testing applications in virtually every industry, with capacities from 10 ozFin to 100 lbFin (7 to 1,150 Ncm). A remote torque sensor with Jacobs chuck can be used to grip the sample, bit or fixture. The rugged aluminium housing allows for hand-held use or test stand mounting for more sophisticated requirements.

Series TT03 features a sampling rate of 2,000 Hz, producing accurate results under a wide range of test conditions. Set point indicators are provided for pass-fail testing. The gauges are overload protected to 150% of capacity and an analog load bar is shown on the display for graphical representation of applied torque.

All the models are supplied with MESUR Lite software, NIST traceable certificate and a carrying case.

The Cap Torque Testers Series is designed to measure application and removal torque of bottle caps upto 100 lbFin (11.5Nm). Adjustable posts effectively grip a broad range of container shapes and sizes. Optional flat and adjustable jaws are available for unique profiles.

This system is supplied with NIST traceable certificate and MESUR Lite software.

The Test stands go by a few other nomenclatures like Texture analyser or Universal testing machine. The applications for the Test stands cut across many industries and it includes medical devices, pharmaceutical, automotive, aerospace, electronics, springs, packaging, consumer products and sports equipment, ergonomics testing and job task analysis, food and beverage, plastics, new materials, etc..

The fundamental idea is to either compress or elongate a material to study the kind of force it takes to change its charcter. The force which takes to thus change is studied and quality ascertained.

Compression is an action where the jig comes down at a pre-determined speed to bend or crush the sample. When it is going up and pulling the sample apart this would be known as tensile testing.

The models can be classified broadly as Manual and Motorised. There are many configurations in these to choose from.

The Mark-10 systems can be connected to the MESUR series of softwares and they are available in three different versions – MESUR Lite, MESUR gauge & MESUR gauge Plus.

The MESUR Lite is the basic software which tabulates continuous or single point data from a gauge. The data saved in the gauge’s memory can also be downloaded in bulk. One-click export to Excel allows for further data manipulation.

The MESUR gauge is a version can do the Data tabulation, has in-built graphing and analysis tools with unlimited data points, can do statistical calculations etc.

The MESUR gauge Plus can also control the up and down movement of the motorized stands apart from all the above features available in MESUR Lite and MESUR gauge.

All products from Mark-10 Corporation would carry a warranty of 3 years.

Agaram ties-up with Mark-10 Corporation of USA. Mark-10 is a company manufacturing Force Gauges, Torque Gauges, Test Stands, which are used in a variety of applications. The Test stands also go by the names of Texture analysers or Universal Testing Machines. All Mark-10 products carry a warranty of three years and are supplied with NIST traceable certificates. Agaram have tied-up with Ozu Corporation, Japan. Ozu Corporation are the manufacturers of Lint-free lab and industrial wipes. These are non-woven and apart from Pharma, they are being widely used in aerospace, automobile, lifesciences, etc..

These also go by the names Texture analysers or Universal Testing Machines.  The fundamental of the system is to ascertain the amount of force needed to attain certain deformation.  The system can do both compression and tensile testing.  The samples can be varied from Plastics, Food, Paper, Medical Devices, Tablets, Metals, Cardboard, Fibres, etc..

Mark-10 has both motorised and manual test stands.  There are many stands to choose from depending on the orientation (vertical or horizontal), length of travel, data points per second, for Force Gauges and for Torque Gauges etc..

The manual test stands are ES-05 / ES-10 & ES-20.  The manual test stands can also be equipped with Analog or Digital Travel Indicators and appropriate clamps / jaws.
