Management Team
Board of Directors/Founders:
K.S. Raman is the founder, managing director and CFO of Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He is also the managing partner of Agaram Industries which was established in 1959 as scientific glassware company and also entered into analytical instrumentation business since 1975 and grew the company to be a leading analytical instrumentation supplier in India. Mr. Raman holds a B.Com and B.L Degree from Madras University. He has been the beacon for Agaram Group, and has grown the business with prudence and honesty without borrowing any funds from financial institutions.
Mukunth Venkatesan is a founder, director and CEO in Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He runs this business as the CEO and manages sales within and outside India. He has 15 years of experience in the lab industry. He has been field engineer and manager of service and support for analytical instrumentation at Agaram Industries. He has a passion for manufacturing and he designed, developed and manufactured the first Indian HPLC system in 1994. He started the software group operations in 1998 grew the company to its current status. He is the key drive behind this venture. He has wide connections in the international market and believes that he can bring on board the right kind of management, marketing, sales and development team. He holds a B.Sc in Applied Sciences and Post Grad Diploma in Medical Instrumentation Technology and a Diploma in Computer Systems Development. Prior to Agaram he worked for British Oxygen Corp as engineer in critical care systems division.
Madhavan Raman is a founder, director and CMO in Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He heads the marketing and sales operation in Agaram industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in analytical instrumentation sales. He has made several products as market leaders in the Indian market. He deals with variety of analytical instrument companies around the world.
Padmanaban Aravamuthan is a founder and director in Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He heads the marketing and sales operation in Agaram industries. He has more than 30 years experience in analytical instrumentation sales in India. He has made few products as market leaders in the Indian market. He is a born sales-man. He also heads the Skalar Analytical B.V Asia Pacific marketing operations.
Executive Management:
Sridhar Rajamani is the CTO of Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He has over 12 years of experience in software development and management of software projects. He has a B.Sc in Computer Science. His first job was in Agaram as a programmer for the HPLC division. Later Sridhar went into investment banking sector as the IT manager. When Agaram started its software operations he joined again in 1998 as a project manager. He has developed complex analytical instrumentation software for the past 8 years. He brings in valuable domain expertise in the lab informatics area
Jagannathan Maraimalai is the Professional Services Director of Agaram Instruments (P) Ltd. He has experience in implementing several lab informatics projects like content management system, Cheminformatics system inside and outside India, covering drug discovery, pharmaceutical domains. Prior to this he was managing the IT division at National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) - Chennai. He was also a previous employee of Agaram as an instrumentation engineer, he has over 15 years of experience in laboratory and IT domain. He has an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication.
