3nh Colour Spectrophotometers

Colour spectrophotometers from 3nh Technology are popular colour measurement instruments preferredin several different industries. As colour assessment is applicable to a wide spectrum of application areas, 3nh Technology offers different systems suitable for varied applications, including portable and bench-top spectrophotometers, spectro-densitometers, and grating spectrophotometers.

Portable Colour Spectrophotometers – NS Series

The NS series spectrophotometers are handy and portable colour measurement systems ideal for on-site applications. It has two models – NS800 and NS810. Both the models have several common specifications and are equipped with 3.5” touch screens.

The size of their integrating spheres is Φ58mm, while their wavelength range is 400~700nm and measuring aperture Φ8mm. With both the systems, you can assess colour in different colour spaces such as CIE LAB, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, CIE LUV, LAB&WI&YI. The major difference between the NS800 and NS810 is in the illumination/observation system. The NS800 is equipped with a 45/0 method (45 ring-shaped illumination, vertical viewing) and the NS810 has d/8 (diffused illumination, 8-degree viewing angle).

Spectro-Densitometers

3nh also offers a unique range of spectro-densitometers which are specifically used in industries such as printing, film processing, textile printing & dyeing, and plastic electronics. This is the reason they are sometimes referred to as pressroom densitometers. The 3nh spectro-densitometer models YD5050 and YD5010 measure and display the density of ink on a colour bar, based on which the operator can decide on adjusting the ink levels.

Grating Spectrophotometers

3nh manufacture both bench-top and portable models of grating spectrophotometers. TS7600 and TS7700 are the portable models while the bench-top variants are YS6010 and YS6060.

The portable models are equipped with a silicon photodiode array sensor and an integrating sphere size of Φ40mm. Both the systems can measure various colour spaces such as CIE LAB, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, CIE LUV, and s-RGB. The TS770 has a UV light source in addition to the conventional combined full spectrum LED light source and can provide colour values in the popular HunterLab colour space. They are equipped with TFT colour touch screens for easy operation and navigation.

The bench top models are preferred for R&D applications in laboratory environments. The YS6010 and YS6060 are equipped with an integrating sphere size of Φ154mm and wavelength range of 360 – 780 nm. These systems are equipped with a high-quality 256 image element double array CMOS image sensor. The YS6010 and YS6060 colour spectrophotometers are equipped with built-in memories that can store up to 20,000 and 40,000 results each.
