Salient features of J-series digital refractometers

The digital refractometers designed by Rudolph Research Analytical have certain features that offer users a significant advantage and make them the preferred choice of customers.

High durability sapphire prism

The sapphire prism in the J-series refractometers offer high chemical and mechanical durability. The sample well is made of 316 stainless steel with a Techtron sealing ring, which makes it resistant to chemicals.

Easy to clean and maintain

The accuracy of high-precision instruments depends on how clean they are. Hence, it is important for them to be easy to maintain. In a refractometer, the sample well is the part which needs to be the easiest to clean. An unclean sample well can result in inaccurate measurements. With this in mind, the J-series digital refractometers have been designed with a shallow sample well that aids cleaning and thereby produces accurate results repeatedly.

Sample temperature control

For many critical applications such as the ones in pharmaceutical and chemical industries, controlling the temperature of the sample in the sample well is important. To make the J-series digital refractometers suitable for such applications, they are equipped with a temperature-controlled presser that assures even and highly accurate temperature stability.

3-year international warranty

All instruments manufactured by RRA come with a warranty of 3 years which is valid anywhere in the world. In case of any service requirements, the nearest authorized distributor will be immediately deployed.
